Throughout the evening, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have led to blackouts in multiple districts of Ukraine's capital, the Ukrainian capital.

A number of civilians were wounded while local people in the city's east were left without electricity and encountered interruptions to water supplies, per reports from local authorities.

At the same time, a young boy was lost their life in a separate Russian drone strike in the southeastern region in the southern area, as reported by regional authorities.

Moscow has intensified attacks on electrical systems over recent weeks, while the country's government has called for "substantial measures" from international partners to apply pressure on Moscow.

"What is required is not window dressing but firm measures - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in delivering defensive weapons and enforcing restrictions," mentioned in a social media post.

He said that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty projectiles attacked the country's power systems, labeling such assaults as "strategic and deliberate" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as the weather cools.

Energy officials said Russia was "conducting extensive attacks" and maintenance teams were working to restore power.

A wave of strikes hit electrical systems and civilian homes in the capital.

Multiple people hurt in the assaults on the city have been hospitalized, as confirmed by municipal representatives.

Area administrators said the metropolitan region endured significant strikes during nighttime hours. A minor died and several individuals were hurt.

The assaults come after evenings of bombing campaigns in the region, portions of which are occupied by invading troops.

All of Ukraine is in a state of readiness for sophisticated projectile assaults, which are tougher to identify.

Government officials told reporters that Moscow was purposely seeking to damage the country's energy grid, with strikes already affecting fuel infrastructure.

Authorities confirmed technical personnel and government agencies were bracing for more assaults.
